The Distance Carbon, developed in collaboration with Black Diamond athlete Joe Grant, weighs only 95 g per pole (120 cm), making it the lightest model we have ever produced. The few contact points have been precisely placed, including the mid-height ring for balance and grip when the pole is carried horizontally. The ultralight EVA foam grip provides the necessary comfort, while the slim, interchangeable baskets ensure maximum versatility. In short, the Distance Carbon is designed for fast movement and is used in mountain races and other activities where low weight is crucial.
