The Momentum Women by Black Diamond is a versatile harness that may feel underutilized in the climbing gym. Its strengths truly shine outdoors, particularly on multi-pitch routes. Black Diamond has constructed the harness using Dual Core Construction, which means that two webbing strands run along the upper and lower edges of the waist belt, stabilizing the EVA foam insert and allowing for maximum breathability since they are not processed as a flat surface. This design not only ensures optimal pressure distribution but also keeps the weight of the harness low. All of this is enveloped in a highly abrasion-resistant nylon material, capable of withstanding the highest performance demands. With its comfortable fit tailored to the female anatomy, hanging in the harness at the belay station is quite comfortable even for extended periods. The proven Speed-Adjust safety buckle on the waist belt is pre-threaded, allowing for quick on and off of the Momentum Women climbing harness without user error. The leg loops are also easy to adjust correctly, thanks to the new TrakFIT adjustment system, which operates with a sliding mechanism in a closed flexible system. Additionally, Black Diamond has added a safety feature with the color-accented tie-in loop. The white of the loop stands out clearly against the gray-blue webbing. The elastic adjustment straps of the leg loops can be individually tailored and can be detached from the waist belt. In between, there is a haul loop sewn in, which can lift not only ropes with a strength of 12 kN but also heavy gear for long routes. The Momentum is completed with four molded gear loops that allow for hassle-free clipping and unclipping of carabiners.
