Product details

The color filter slightly darkens the light that reaches the eye or the camera sensor. This eliminates glare, among other things. It makes the image more contrast-rich, revealing many details that were previously hidden.

Color Filter "Green" (1.25") No. 56 - 0310262: The green filter significantly enhances the contrast between the red and blue regions of the cloud structures on the gas planets Jupiter and Saturn. On Earth's moon, contrasts in the ray craters become more pronounced.

Color Filter "Dark Blue" (1.25") No. 38A - 0310263: The dark blue color aids in observing high cloud cover on Mars. The contrast is increased. The dark reddish structures are depicted darker, making this filter perfect for observing the Great Red Spot on the gas planet Jupiter. Saturn's rings are highlighted, and the structures of Venus's atmosphere become more defined. It is well-suited for use with telescopes starting from 10" aperture.

Color Filter "Orange" (1.25") No. 21 - 0310273: This filter helps in recognizing the dark areas on the planet Mars. It also reveals significantly more details in the cloud bands of Saturn and Jupiter.

Color Filter "Light Yellow" (1.25") No. 8 - 0310268: When observing the lunar surface, the contrast is greatly enhanced, as is the case with the planet Mars. On the giant planet Jupiter, the contrast between the individual cloud bands is significantly increased, making more details visible. With a telescope diameter of about 8" and very good viewing conditions, some details on Saturn can even be seen.
