CS (Climb Switch) is a unique climbing mode developed by Cane Creek that keeps the shock's suspension fully active during uphill climbs in Low Speed mode. The result is significantly improved bike control and maximum traction, combined with reduced strain on the rider and enhanced power transfer. Unlike traditional shocks, the Double Barrel CS features climbing-specific damping for both compression and rebound.

How does Climb Switch work? When CS (Climb Switch) is activated, the Low Speed range of the Double Barrel Air shock is switched to climbing mode via an internal adjustment. This effectively suppresses unwanted pumping movements of the shock while keeping the suspension fully active, allowing the rider to have reserves when the riding situation demands it. Before descending, you simply flip the lever and enjoy all the advantages of the Double Barrel shock.
