Delivery without steel spring. The DBcoil IL is the lightest coil spring damper on the market, while using 40-50% more damping oil compared to other dampers in its class. The DBcoil IL is the first inline damper with two tubes that offers all the functions of a piggyback damper in a lighter and slimmer package. The oil circulates continuously through externally adjustable damping valves. Two-tube dampers have two main chambers, a compression chamber and a rebound chamber, separated by adjustable valves. The main damper piston pushes the damping oil through the externally adjustable damping valves between the compression and rebound chambers. On the trail, this oil flow results in less fading, more control, and greater consistency.
