Product details
The BSA68 bottom bracket convinces with its design. It allows you to connect a 24 mm axle, such as those of Shimano and 68 mm wide bottom bracket shells with thread. The bearings are mounted in the bearing shells, which are then screwed into the bottom bracket shell. These bearings are either the standard or coated bearings. Both have super round, super smooth CeramicSpeed balls that are made of hardened steel. The coated version has a metallic coating on the races that makes them even harder and smoother, resulting in longer life and lower resistance.Standard CeramicSpeed bearings typically have a frictional resistance of 0.3-0.4 watts per set. This is in the range of a 75% reduction in resistance compared to standard bottom brackets. This is due to ball bearings that are 100% smoother and 15% harder than the ceramic competition. The bearings last at least three times longer than other bearings. - Details: - Highest quality / Reduced friction / lighter and smoother running - 3- 5 times longer life compared to standard bearing - Power savings With the help of a complete Ceramicspeed upgrade 10-16 watts - Bearing: CeramicSpeed ceramic Grade3 - Handmade in Denmark - Type: Hollow axle - Installation width: 68 mm - Frame compatibility: BSA - Intended use: road bike bottom bracket - Type: screwed bearing shells axle - Axle mount: 24mm.
