DT Alpine® III Do you want an ultra-stable and lightweight spoke? Choose the DT Alpine III. The DT Alpine III is the spoke with the lowest weight in relation to its stability. This is achieved through an elaborate manufacturing process. Starting from a 2.34 mm spoke, the diameter is reduced to 2 mm at the thread and even down to 1.8 mm in the middle section using a cold forging process. This results in a maximum weight saving of 173 g compared to spokes with a uniform diameter. Despite the lightweight middle section, the DT Alpine III maintains maximum strength and reliability. The optimal application area is for highly stressed wheels, such as tandems or e-bikes. Weight: 418 g for 64 spokes at a length of 264 mm.
