Compact, stable tent for hikers who prioritize a lightweight backpack. To achieve minimal weight, the tent height is slightly lower, and the vestibule is intentionally kept compact. Ideal as a compact, lightweight hiking tent during the warm months of the year, it can also be used in winter, provided extreme weather conditions are avoided. The outer tent is made from Fjällräven's new high-performance TripleRip nylon. This innovative construction consists of two different fabric strengths: 20 Denier on top and 40 Denier on the more heavily stressed tent floor, combining high durability with the lightest possible weight. To prevent the inner tent from getting wet during setup, the inner and outer tents can be pitched together. Easy handling is ensured by two color-coded tent poles, generously sized, low-friction pole channels, and easily adjustable pole holders. In critical weather conditions, the tent can also be set up with an additional pole set (accessory). Six Dyneema guy lines with one-handed operation and integrated reflective yarn provide excellent visibility. Outstanding ventilation is achieved through large, high-placed vents. For a good view and maximum air circulation, the outer tent can be rolled up at both ends in warm weather conditions. In warm but changeable weather, the door can be partially opened and secured – an auto-stop function prevents the wind from forcing the zipper open. Fine mesh at all openings keeps even the smallest insects out. A clothesline and mesh pockets in the inner tent make it easier to dry gear and keep everything organized. Attachment points for the Gear Loft hanging storage (accessory) are included in the inner tent. Like all other tents from Fjällräven, the Abisko Lite 2 is made without PVC and toxic flame retardants. The impregnation is PFC-free.
