New crown and revised housing. The new design is 20 grams lighter, while the overlap of the fork steerer at the crown has been increased. This improves durability while maintaining stiffness and reducing weight. By increasing the air volume in the lower housing, the amount of unwanted pressure spikes is reduced. The oil also circulates in the upper part of the housing, continuously lubricating the foam rings and bushings as the fork compresses and extends. Bleed valves on the lower housing allow for atmospheric pressure equalization for better fork performance, enabling full travel utilization and improving sensitivity and responsiveness over small bumps.

FIT4: In its fourth generation, the patented closed FIT4 cartridge system offers three settings for compression damping - open, medium, and firm - to adapt to different trail conditions.

Float Evol: Optimizes sensitivity over small bumps by increasing the negative air spring volume. The linear spring curve provides a pleasant ride feel in the upper range, additional support in the mid-stroke, and a better-tunable end progression.
