This external battery pack connects directly to the Edge 1030 bike computer and extends battery life by up to 24 hours. It can even be used with the new optimized bike mount. You can also charge devices on the go. To do this, connect the Garmin Charge power pack to a compatible fitness device, including wearables and other bike computers, using an additional cable. Simply connect the power pack with a USB charging cable, and you can continue enjoying your activity to the fullest. The Edge 1030 bike mount is sold separately or included with the Edge 1030. Wearables with wrist-based heart rate monitoring that are charged via a plug charger cannot be worn during the charging process. To use the Garmin Charge power pack with another Edge device, the bike combination mount and a power pack USB cable are required.
