The XD 1-ER Kit was developed from our vision that riders with XD freehub bodies might want to switch to singlespeed without having to buy a new hub. We entered the singlespeed market early on and know that riders are still looking for simple and elegant solutions to make their bikes work under all conditions.

The XD 1-ER Kit utilizes the gearing and threaded XD freehub body and is easy to install. Depending on the orientation of the included 3 mm spacer, it offers a 49 or 51 mm chainline. It has never been easier to ride a modern SRAM bike with a singlespeed setup.

The sprocket teeth are designed for a narrow 3/32''-9 speed chain, although wider 1/8'' singlespeed chains can also be successfully used.

It is recommended to install a new chain, as a used chain is likely worn and may not mesh well with the fresh, unused sprocket.
