The "tube" made of soft TPU protects the polyurethane responsible for good and long-lasting cushioning. At the same time, internal TPU ribs and reinforcements provide stability and precise guidance. The outsole impresses with a Vibram Integral Light profile design, a reinforced heel front, and the proven Vibram "Mont Compound" for excellent downhill traction. Additionally, the climbing zone of this semi-crampon-compatible model is reinforced with TPU, giving the sole perfect edge stability in the toe area. What else distinguishes the Ferrata Tour GTX? Its classic leather lower part ensures a perfect fit, while a stable yet flexible shaft made of particularly abrasion-resistant polyamide and polyurethane fabrics allows for necessary freedom of movement in the ankle for precise foot placement on the rock. For high-altitude use, the toe area is specially insulated - GORE-TEX Duratherm provides maximum thermal insulation. An additional insole allows for volume adjustment and individual customization of the shoe. The Alpine Wide last also offers a slightly wider forefoot area for more comfort, without compromising on climbing performance and precision in foot placement.
