The "Tube" made of soft TPU protects the polyurethane, which is responsible for good and long-lasting cushioning. At the same time, internal TPU ribs and reinforcements provide stability and precise guidance during foot strikes. The outsole impresses with Vibram Integral Light profile design, a reinforced heel front, and the proven Vibram "Mont Compound" for excellent downhill traction. Additionally, the climbing zone of this semi-crampon-compatible model is reinforced with TPU, providing perfect edge stability in the toe area. What else sets the Ferrata Tour GTX apart? Its classic leather lower part ensures a perfect fit, while a stable yet flexible shaft made of particularly abrasion-resistant polyamide and polyurethane yarns allows for necessary freedom of movement at the ankle for precise foot placement on rock. For high-altitude use, the toe area is specially insulated - GORE-TEX Duratherm ensures maximum thermal insulation. An additional insole allows for volume adjustment and individual customization of the shoe. The Alpine Wide last also offers a slightly wider forefoot area for more comfort, without compromising climbing performance and precision in foot placement.
