The Hanwag Waxenstein Bio is a mid-cut shoe made from chrome-free tanned leather, offering a comfortable fit. The StraightFit HANWAG last concept with a newly developed toe box allows for the big toe to be positioned straight and provides more space for the toes for people with a wider forefoot.

The Composole is the first fully compostable outsole for mountain and trekking shoes, featuring two different profiles for various applications.

Category A/B: The shoe is suitable for everyday use, leisure activities, and walks on good paths, as well as light hiking in flat terrain. The category primarily determines the stiffness of the sole, the drop (how rounded the sole is to allow for good rolling), and the shaft construction.
