Jagwire brake cable outer casings are the first choice for many major bicycle manufacturers worldwide. They rely on the proven Jagwire combination of premium quality, reliable durability, and outstanding performance. The outer casings made from lead-free PVC meet all international standards regarding material properties and chemical composition.
In this outer casing, the liner is surrounded by a compression-free ring of linear steel strands. Additionally, these are wrapped in a Kevlar fabric to counteract the forces encountered during braking. The result is a significantly more direct and sensitive feel. They are ideally suited for mechanical disc brakes or brakes with continuous outer casings, where the pressure point is greatly improved.
