The adapter can only be mounted on bikes that have a corresponding threaded socket on the head tube. By being mounted on the frame, the adapter has no connection to steering-moving parts. Therefore, the steering behavior of the bicycle remains unaffected. The new angled shape creates more distance from the front wheel, allowing KLICKfix bags and baskets to be used even on particularly small frames.

With this new type of adapter, many accessories can now also be used on folding bikes with the appropriate threaded socket. This is especially suitable for all baskets with height-adjustable adapter plates, Freepack Meta backpacks, Shopper Mini, or any handlebar bags.

Many Dahon or Tern folding bike models are prepared for the installation of this adapter.
