The CX302 is the ultimate climbing shoe, lightweight yet comfortable, with a secure fit and direct power transfer. Made from Clarino microfiber, featuring dual BOA® Li2 dials and Lake's handcrafted CFC 3K carbon sole, this cycling shoe weighs an incredible 195 grams (size 44, without insole).

The CX/TX Race Last offers a slightly narrower toe box and a tighter heel area compared to the Competition Last, with less overall volume than the Sport Last. Designed for an extremely high pedaling tempo with a more precise fit. The wide version provides an additional 15 mm of volume in the forefoot area.

The 100% carbon fiber sole of Lake Race is available with a 3-hole cleat pattern. The CX302 utilizes Lake's patented dual sole system. The insole is a semi-flexible carbon platform that allows some flexibility in the foot area, where the foot tends to swell and where pressure points or numbness typically occur. The insole floats above the stiff carbon outsole. This system allows for the use of an extremely stiff carbon outsole without sacrificing riding comfort.

Clarino microfiber and mesh with a medial Carbitex support panel ensure a secure fit. The BOA® Fit System Li2 dials provide precise and micro-adjustable adjustments in both directions and are designed for abrasion resistance.
