The riders have asked, Marzocchi has heard the call and proudly delivered. The new Z1 Coil builds on the legacy of the single crown fork that initiated the revolution in the 90s - the O.G. Bomber Z1 Coil. The new Z1 Coil is based on the robust and proven 36mm chassis of the modern Bomber Z1. It retains the well-known Grip Damper but replaces the air suspension with the most advanced coil spring system Marzocchi has ever produced. The centerpiece of this new coil spring system is an ultra-light, hardened silicon-chromium steel spring (available in 4 spring rates for a wide range of riders), which is coupled with a noise management system for near-silent performance, integrated air support for progressiveness and bottom-out control, and an external preload adjuster for tuning sag and stiffness from the top. The travel can be easily adjusted in 10mm increments from 150-180mm (depending on wheel size) using the included reconfigurable internal spacers.
