Product details

The increasing demands and higher speeds in modern downhill sports have initiated a new project. The goal was to develop a tire that offers excellent braking, cornering, and lateral traction on both deep and loose surfaces, while also withstanding extreme cornering forces on hard ground. After more than a year of development, MAXXIS has achieved this: the High Roller III is here. With its hybrid tread design, it positions itself between the Assegai and Shorty models. Its wide range of applications spans from soft to hard surfaces, allowing for precise steering and maintaining the line accurately. The open center knobs penetrate deeply into wet or soft ground, providing reliable grip and effective braking power. At the same time, the large side knobs withstand the greatest stresses in extreme lean angles. Thanks to the 3C MaxxGrip compound, the High Roller III impresses with excellent cornering control, even on hard surfaces.

As an all-rounder for deep soils, Maxxis sends the legendary High Roller in its third generation. The heavy tyre scored very well in the laboratory. Extreme wetness and mud push it to its limits, but in loose bends and on gravel it is top. A great all-rounder!
