The Hookworm was designed to withstand abuse from the most aggressive street riders. Durability and traction in all situations, whether on stairs, rails, or skateparks. It's simply the typical urban tire. The tread pattern extends completely over the tire sidewalls to the rim edges, making the sidewalls as stable as the tread and extremely durable. This is why many bike rickshaws also rely on these tires.

The MaxxPro compound is the first tire formulation for bicycle tires where the components have been extremely finely ground. This mixture is optimal for everything from all-mountain to downhill: more grip, good damping properties, long lifespan, and low rolling resistance. And no knob tearing – a success of the exclusive Maxxis MaxxPro technology.
