GOG - Makalu Outdoor Sunglasses

The GOG Makalu Outdoor Sunglasses are designed for extreme brightness and are ideal for mountain and glacier conditions. In matte gray/black, they provide strong eye protection and a secure fit during demanding outdoor activities. The UV400 filter blocks light rays up to 400 nanometers, fully protecting against UVA, UVB, and UVC radiation in intense sunlight.

Polarized lenses reduce glare from snow, water, and roads, enhancing visibility and color contrasts. The mirrored coating minimizes reflections and increases scratch resistance, while the hydrophobic coating repels water and reduces dust. With a filter category of 4, the Makalu model allows only 3-8% of visible light to pass through, making it perfect for very bright sunlight in high-altitude areas (not suitable for road use).

The lightweight TR90 Grilamid frame is flexible, durable, and comfortable to wear. Thanks to HEAD-FIT technology, the nose pads and temple ends can be individually adjusted for a stable fit. The universal size of 59-16-132 mm fits most wearers. A soft protective case is included.
