Our retrofit kits have been tested and found to be excellent! Old Man Mountain was founded in 1996 out of the need to mount racks on bicycles without traditional attachment points, enabling every bike to do more. Our Fit Kits do just that while offering several advantages over mounting on eyelets.

Fit Kits protect your bike. Not all eyelets are designed to accommodate racks; most are only intended for fenders or have very low weight limits. The axle mounting protects your frame by transferring the load from a small, shear-loaded screw to a bolt that protrudes from the axle and is captured by the rack's dropouts.

Need to carry more material? By mounting on the axle, the Divide rack's load capacity increases to 33 kg.

Want to move your rack between multiple bikes? With the adapter kits, you can easily switch from one bike to another or from one front/rear mount to another with just a few screws.
