The shifters are not included but are readily available in 8 to 11 speed versions. At Paul Comp, they swear by thumb shifters because they are precise and smooth to use. The bracket is designed as a hinge clamp, which accommodates handlebar diameters of 22.2mm or 31.8mm. The 22.2mm version fits mountain bike handlebars, while the 31.8mm version mounts to drop bars close to the stem. Paul Comp's thumb shifter mount can exclusively accommodate Shimano handlebar end/down tube shifters. Available in black or silver, with 22.2mm or 31.8mm clamp diameter.
