Preston Innovations is proud to introduce the next generation of long rods specifically designed for carp fishing in Europe. The STR series is based on the blank of our Euro Carp series, allowing complete compatibility for former owners of the tip and end piece, while benefiting from the latest carbon technology to produce rods that are simply fun to use. The series consists of 5 rods that share the same blank, making them fully interchangeable and featuring a brand new generation of head kits. The requirements for creating this series were: comfort, performance, balance, compatibility, and precision. All these elements have been achieved to create our best European rod series to date! We have developed new head kits for the Euro Carp STR rods, with the key concept of simplicity. In this sense, the head kits for each rod in the series are identical, so you can be assured that the head kits are the same quality and fully interchangeable, whether you purchase the 8.5 m Edge rod or the flagship STR 1300 model. The series includes 2 power kits of 290 cm, available in black or gray. A 3-piece version of 440 cm is also available in black for deeper waters, as well as a short 1-piece 185 cm kit that can be extended to 290 cm using the short kit extension. Each head kit features depth markings at 1 cm intervals, which are essential for adjusting depths, lead patterns, and the distances between the float and the connector.
