The PowerPack 500 BBS275 battery (500 Wh, 36 V, 13.4 Ah) is compatible with a Bosch electric bike equipped with a 250 W Bosch motor and a 500 Wh battery, like the one you describe. This corresponds to a range of around 90 km, depending on the use and configuration of the bike. This battery is designed to be easy to fit, remove and recharge. For the charger, you'll need a standard Bosch charger that's compatible with this PowerPack 500 battery and will allow you to fully recharge it in around 4.5 hours. It is not included with the battery and must be purchased separately. In short, this battery is suitable for your Bosch B-EASY 500 ASTRO 28 45 cm bike with Bosch 250 W motor and 500 Wh range, and you can use a standard Bosch charger to recharge it.

Does an update have to be made???

Why an update, it's the normal Bosch original battery. I didn't have to update with ACID HYBRID ONE 400 29, Pirion, wherever a Bosch 400Wh or 500Wh fits, this original one fits too!

No, it is only conditionally. It costs about 700 francs +/-50. I think it's good, as long as the money doesn't just flow back to Bosch, but also into future battery projects without Lizium. Imagine if this battery or any battery at all with Lizium were cheaper, then our earth would be exploited by even more fools (including me). See the water problem for Lizium mining in areas that are drying up more and more. Whether it's fair that only the "rich" can afford such toys is another question. I don't think that this battery will become cheaper in the longer term. (Storage of old fashions & scarcer Lizium worldwide.) I'm always glad to see people who think a bit more differentiated and don't argue like that: I want, I need now...
