It is made from lightweight and durable Pertex Quantum fabric and can be easily compressed for transport in a touring backpack or travel luggage. Rab has insulated the jacket for climbers and mountaineers with a high-quality filling of recycled down with a 700 cuin fill power. Additionally, not only is the surface treated with a water- and dirt-repellent DWR finish, but the down itself also features a hydrophobic Nikwax treatment. With approximately 150 g of down in its Nano Baffle chambers, the Microlight Alpine Jacket provides comfortable warmth while belaying, rappelling, and approaching.
