The Rapace GTX is a lightweight mountaineering boot made from durable nubuck and abrasion-resistant textile material, featuring a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX lining. It offers secure grip combined with comfort and support – SALEWA's solution for via ferratas and alpine tours. The Rapace GTX integrates the 3F system for ankle support with flexibility and an optimal fit. Its Vibram Wrapping Thread Combi (WTC) outsole has an aggressive profile for excellent ground traction while providing a natural feel and secure grip on rocky terrain.
The SALEWA Bilight technology in the midsole ensures ergonomic and long-lasting cushioning for high comfort. At the same time, the Rapace GTX is sturdy enough for use with hybrid/semi-automatic crampons. The GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining provides optimal climate comfort, and the rubber rand protects against abrasion and impacts.
