Product details
The Shimano SLX cassette hub is compatible with 12-speed cassettes featuring Micro Spline teeth and is equipped with Scylence technology for increased stiffness and quieter operation.
Quick Engagement: Shimano's road bike rear wheels and hubs are designed with 18/16 notches for quick power engagement. Unlike road racing, MTB XC courses often feature many tight corners and steep climbs, where a fast power engagement is absolutely crucial. Shimano has enhanced the rear hubs of its advanced MTB hubs and wheels by equipping them with 18/16 notches and two pawls to double the engagement and optimize traction.
