Super Carp Method Mix is one of our original baits that has stood the test of time and remains very popular today. It was designed for carp fishing using the Method Feeder. This is a heavy, sticky mix full of pellets, fish meal, corn, and hemp, all crushed together to create a bait that contains larger feed particles. These help the mix to break down and create a rich feeding zone that is perfect for carp.

Chris Ponsford says: "For carp on a Method Feeder, there is no better bait. It is really sticky when mixed alone, so I always add sweet corn, cooked hemp, broken pellets, or boilies to make it easier to release from the Method Feeder. It is packed with ground pellets, hemp, corn, and fish meal, so adding these elements complements what is already there."

Empty the 2kg bag of bait into a round bucket, fill a 2-pint maggot container with water, pour it over the bait, and mix well. Let it sit for 30 minutes; during this time, the bait will absorb the water. When fishing, sun and wind can dry the bait out a bit. To counteract this, you can cover the mixed bait with a damp towel or simply add a little more water and mix again if it dries out.
