Sport-Thieme Fall Prevention Set for Balance and Strength Training with Senior Groups - The Sport-Thieme Fall Prevention Set has been assembled based on recommendations from AOK, using suitable small equipment for balance and strength training. In line with the content division of fall prevention courses into a balance section and a strength section, the components of the set are also divided into devices for balance and muscle training. Items such as bean bags, gym ropes, balls, and exercise mats are primarily used for balance and coordination exercises. For example, participants try to balance on the gym rope or use their feet to create shapes with the rope. The dumbbells are used to strengthen the arms and upper body, enabling seniors to hold on and support themselves better. This fall prevention set includes nearly everything that groups and instructors need for targeted fall prevention training. In addition to the set, a sufficiently large exercise room and two stable chairs per participant are required. The chairs are arranged in an inner and an outer circle, allowing the backrest of the front chair to be used as a support. The set is designed for all types of guided fall prevention courses – whether in care facilities, clubs, health centers, or community centers.
