This results in excellent energy absorption. The surface and sides are securely glued and sealed with durable and smooth vinyl material. The underside features non-slip waffle rubber, which is firmly bonded to the filling. Additionally, the edges of the anti-slip coating are reinforced with a hot melt adhesive layer. Thus, the throw mat is not only slip-resistant but also particularly durable. Thanks to the beveled edges, there are no tripping hazards for the Tori (the executing, throwing judoka).
