At a Glance
Moderate insulation performance
The R-value of 3.2 provides sufficient protection against ground cold for three seasons, but is too low for extreme winter temperatures.
Increased backpack weight
The weight of 740 g is typical for a self-inflating mat, but noticeably heavier for backpacking compared to pure ultralight mats.
Reduced cushioning when lying down
The thickness of 3.8 cm offers basic cushioning on flat ground, but is relatively thin for significant ground irregularities.
