Instead of down, this jacket is insulated with PrimaLoft, a down-like synthetic fiber technology. The jacket also features elastic and breathable inserts, making it enjoyable to engage in sports while wearing it. The hood, cuffs, and hem are finished with Lycra tape, preventing them from shifting around. The reversed 2-way zipper is robust and allows for quick on and off. There are two front pockets and a zippered chest pocket for valuables, avalanche transceivers, and energy bars. Even when wearing a harness, the chest pocket is easily accessible, making it perfect for storing the avalanche transceiver if you prefer not to carry it in the holder. The sleeves are pre-shaped and have thumb loops, allowing them to move perfectly with your motions.
