Whether cycling or walking, the very lightweight Uphill 12 bike backpack, weighing just 380 g, is always a reliable companion. Despite its minimalist design, cyclists can count on full comfort. In addition to the asymmetrically opening main compartment with a volume of 12 liters, a flat, stretchy mesh pocket and a zippered side pocket provide access to a phone or snack without having to remove the lightweight backpack. The front lacing features a triple function: storing a wind or rain jacket when the backpack is full, compressing when carrying less gear, and a way to attach trekking poles. For the ultralight, silicone-treated main material of the lightweight backpack, a certified mass balance process is used. This process extracts pyrolysis oil from old tires, which is then used in conventional polyamide production. Through chemical recycling, up to 60% CO2 is saved. Additionally, this product is climate-neutral: emissions from materials, manufacturing processes, and shipping have been comprehensively assessed and systematically reduced. Currently unavoidable emissions have been fully compensated through the independent non-profit organization myclimate.
