Sock made from approximately 2/3 high-quality merino wool, knitted in a circular fashion without longitudinal seams. The terry material has excellent insulation properties and keeps warm even when wet. The sock absorbs moisture and transports it away from the foot without compromising its insulation capabilities. It features terry material on the foot and the shaft, making it particularly suitable for use in very cold temperatures. Ullfrotté Original consists of 80% air. It is a knitted terry fabric, with one side being smooth and the other made of terry loops. The airy terry loops combined with the crimped structure of the wool create a jersey knit that traps a lot of air, resulting in very good insulation. The thicker the layer of air around the body, the less body heat can escape.
