The sawtooth rim shape of the Zipp 353 NSW with Hyperfoils optimizes aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability. The sawtooth design also allows the rim to be structurally strong yet lightweight. This helps you accelerate out of corners and maintain that speed regardless of the terrain, especially on short, punchy climbs. The Zipp 353 NSW employs the TSE approach (Total System Efficiency) for wheel design and overcoming specific speed barriers: aerodynamic drag, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses. The internal width of the rims at 25 mm is perfect for running wider tubeless tires at reduced air pressure.
