The Kabolt X, a lightweight, bolt-on thru-axle, reduces weight and increases torsional stiffness through a sleeve-less, one-sided pinch-bolt design. By increasing the air volume in the lower legs, the amount of additional unintended pressure ramps is reduced. The oil in the lower leg bath also circulates into the upper areas of the legs, continuously lubricating the foam rings and bushings as the fork compresses and rebounds. This allows for atmospheric pressure equalization for better fork performance, enabling full travel to be achieved and improving sensitivity and responsiveness over small bumps. The new lower leg design pulls out all the stops, saving every possible gram without compromising the stiffness and strength requirements of modern enduro and gravity rides.
