When I turn on my WCT-8010 and switch it to ON (centre), it flashes green like crazy and goes zigzag, I then see in the monitor what it is pointed at. Only when I switch to "ON" does it stop. - When I switch to "On", the red light comes on normally until it is "armed" (oh dear, don't misinterpret this, I am 79 and really only understand red light to mean the flashing on the camera...).

Answer

For me, it does not flash when set to "Test", but it clicks slightly here and there when I move the camera. Apparently the "green appearance" had something to do with weak batteries.

I think it flashes to say that you have 30 seconds to put the camera down and then it is active
