Hello I received the treadmill today; however, I cannot effectively fold down the running surface. Does anyone know the problem and can help me. Thank you very much 🙏

It has a bit of resistance at first, just pull it down anyway, at first you think it won't work or something will break, but that's the way it is. At least that's how it was for me.

Maybe there is still a piece of packing stuck, make sure that everything has been removed. It also takes some strength. I kneel next to the treadmill, motor on the left, open the mobile part with my right hand, support myself on the fixed part with my left hand, lift the mobile part with my right hand and tilt it to the right. There is a point of resistance, you have to pull with your right hand at the same time and be ready to brake the landing so that the neighbour downstairs doesn't think you've had an accident and call the ambulance.... When the mobile part is half open, it is the opportunity to bring the treadmill to the centre: you can adjust it as long as it is not under tension. When closing it, I do the same thing: support myself with my left hand on the fixed part and lift the mobile part with my right hand in the middle of the treadmill: thumb over it and other fingers under it, I have to pull hard (a few kilograms) until the mobile part lifts.
