The heat-shrinkable cable end cap SKE provides mechanical and environmental protection as well as sealing for cable ends. The end cap is made of semi-rigid, flame-retardant polyolefin and is suitable for demanding applications. The adhesive coating ensures long-lasting, flexible, and waterproof protection. The SKE is a semi-rigid cross-linked modified heat-shrink polyolefin cable end cap with hot melt adhesive. The minimum shrink temperature is 120 °C, and the operating temperature ranges from -30 °C to 135 °C. The SKE is RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and offers good corrosion resistance. When heated, the adhesive melts and the cap shrinks, creating a perfect waterproof seal. The end caps allow for quick and easy insulation and sealing of cable ends in indoor and outdoor areas and are characterized by resistance to abrasion, weather influences, and chemical attacks. The SKE is black and available in sizes from 8/4 to 126/63 mm, with a wall thickness (after shrinking) of 2.5 to 4.0 mm. It is available as a bulk or standard package.
