The hot melt adhesive penetrates all imperfections and voids and prevents moisture ingress. The 3M MDT-A heat shrinkable tubing is suitable for insulating plastic and ground cables up to 0.6/1kV both for outdoor and underground installation. The ageing-resistant heat-shrinkable tubing is UV-resistant and resistant to many chemical influences. It can be used in a temperature range from -55 °C to +130 °C.
