ABB System Pro M compact S200M double pole 10 kA type C miniature circuit breakers are current limiting. They feature two different tripping mechanisms: a delayed thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection and an electromechanical tripping mechanism for short-circuit protection. All S200M series MCBs comply with IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC/EN 60947-2, making them suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. A lower auxiliary contact can be mounted on the S200M to save 50% space.

Features and Benefits:

  • Extra wide and complete range of MCBs for most applications and markets
  • Space and time saving due to unique bottom mounting auxiliary contact
  • Meets worldwide standards for domestic or small commercial installations up to 10 kA breaking capacity

Standards:

  • IEC 60898: Refers to low voltage circuit breakers for use in domestic and similar installations, traditionally known in the UK as miniature circuit breakers.
  • IEC 60947-2: Refers to low voltage circuit breakers for use in industrial and similar installations, traditionally known in the UK as compact circuit breakers (Moulded Case Circuit Breakers) and open circuit breakers (Air Circuit Breakers).

Tripping curve C: Characteristic C tripping occurs at 5 to 10 times the rated current, suitable for circuit protection and general applications.

Notice: Classic and System Pro M products cannot be mixed, and they do not share common accessories. System Pro M series products can only be mounted in new type Protecta distribution boxes.
