The RC5-1/50 is a type RC surge protection device designed to reduce the maximum surge voltage peak value and limit or even completely eliminate the high frequencies of the pre-damping voltage when used with an AC-operated conventional relay for a rated control voltage between 24 and 50 V AC 50/60Hz.
