The switching power supplies of the CP-D series are characterized by a wide input range and high efficiency. They offer adjustable output voltages for devices over 10W, with low power loss and minimal heat generation. The power supplies utilize free convection cooling, eliminating the need for forced cooling by a fan. They are equipped with overload, short-circuit, and surge protection, as well as an integrated input protection. The U/I characteristic curve exhibits a fold-forward behavior under overload, preventing shutdown. An integrated LED status indicator makes them suitable for installation in distribution cabinets. The redundancy unit CP-D RU enables automatic redundant operation of the power supply for critical applications and allows for increased power through two parallel-connected power supplies, with two inputs (up to 5A per channel) and a single output of up to 10A.
