ABB System M Pro S200 Type B 2 pole 10 kA. ABB System Pro M Compact S200M miniature overload switches are current limiters. They feature two different tripping mechanisms: a delayed thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection and an electrical-mechanical tripping mechanism for short-circuit protection. All S200M series circuit breakers comply with IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC/EN 60947-2, allowing use in residential, commercial, and industrial applications. An auxiliary contact with floor fixing can be mounted on S200M, providing 50% space saving.

Features and Benefits:

  • Extra wide and complete range of circuit breakers covering most applications and markets
  • Space and time saving thanks to the unique floor mounted auxiliary contact
  • Meets worldwide standards for domestic or small commercial installations up to 6 kA breaking current
  • Operating temperature range: -25 °C to +55 °C
  • Maximum operating voltage: 440 V AC

Standards:

  • IEC 60898: Refers to low voltage circuit breakers for use in domestic and similar installations, traditionally known in the UK as miniature circuit breakers.
  • IEC 60947-2: Refers to low voltage circuit breakers for use in industrial and similar installations, traditionally known in the UK as compact circuit breakers and also as open circuit breakers.

Trip characteristic B: Tripping occurs at 3 to 5 times the rated current. Applications include protection of generators, people, and very long cables.

Notice: These are a low-cost series of MCBs, and as such, common accessories do not fit; these parts will not fit compact boards.
