Product details
The MS132-T transformer protection switch from ABB is a powerful circuit breaker specifically designed for the protection of transformers up to 25 A. With a compact module width of 45 mm, it offers a high short-circuit interruption capacity and ensures reliable thermal monitoring of the primary side transformer rated current. The short-circuit tripping occurs only when the device rated current reaches 20 times, meaning that the transformer protection switch will not be triggered by the inrush current of a transformer. The temperature-compensated device is equipped with a rotary handle that provides a clear switching position indicator (I/TRIP/0). Additionally, the MS132-T features a short-circuit indicator and allows for direct locking in the 0 position using a padlock. Auxiliary, signal, and short-circuit reporting contacts, as well as undervoltage and operational current tripping mechanisms, are also integrated, enhancing the functionality and safety of the device.
- High short-circuit interruption capacity for transformer protection up to 25 A
- Thermal monitoring of the transformer rated current
- Increased short-circuit tripping at 20 times the device rated current
- Rotary handle operation with clear switching position indicator
- Integrated short-circuit indicator and locking capability.
