The tedee door sensor from Aeotec is an innovative solution for monitoring door status in conjunction with compatible tedee Smart Locks. This compact sensor accurately detects whether a door is open or closed and transmits this information via Bluetooth to the lock. This enables enhanced security and optimized access control in everyday life. The sensor and magnet feature a minimalist design and can be easily attached to the inside of the door leaf and the door frame. When the sensor and magnet are in contact, the door is recognized as closed, allowing for automatic locking of the lock. When the door is open, the locking process remains disabled to prevent accidental locking. Additionally, the associated app allows for the activation of security notifications that inform you if the door remains open for a specified period. In combination with the tedee Bridge, it is possible to monitor the door status in real-time and view all opening and closing actions in the activity log.
