The DoorProtect magnet and reed wireless alarm sensor is a wireless magnetic sensor that reports the first signs of a break-in through doors or windows. It can be installed on all types of doors, including metal frames. The tamper-proof authentication detects and encrypts communication channel disturbances and provides a tampering alarm. The sensor operates for up to 7 years without needing a battery replacement and features an external contact for connecting third-party sensors. The package includes magnets in various sizes for mounting on narrow door and window frames. The reed switch is activated by a magnetic field. The sensor can operate in transmitter mode and send a signal from a wired sensor to the control panel. The device consists of two modules – a sensor and a magnet. Two magnets are included: the large magnet can be mounted at a distance of up to 2 cm, while the small magnet can be mounted at a distance of up to 1 cm.
