The battery-operated device tester ST 710 is designed for mobile, simple, and cost-effective testing of electrical devices and tools, including tools with on/off switches, heating devices, motorized equipment, lamps, cable reels, power strips, and household appliances in accordance with DIN VDE 0701-0702, BGV A3, ÖVE/ÖNORM E 8701, and NEN 3140. The protective conductor/touch current is measured using the equivalent leakage current method.

Features include easy operation via three buttons and quick testing, with a complete test taking only 10 seconds. It is portable and allows testing independent of the power grid, suitable for devices of classes I, II (III) as well as extension and power cables with IEC plugs, providing good or poor ratings.
