The ESD safety work shoe QO500 from Birkenstock features a removable footbed that provides secure support and relieves the feet, allowing for comfortable standing, walking, and running for many hours a day, even in challenging work environments. The QO500 is designed as a simple, modern sneaker with a 6-hole lacing system.

It is specifically developed for individuals in the microelectronics field or high-frequency technology and actively ensures a continuous gentle discharge for the wearer. The antistatic elements in the sole balance potential electrical voltage differences between the person and the work environment through constant grounding of the feet, identifiable by the round yellow emblem.

Warning: The ESD range is up to 35 MOhm, so it does not provide insulation! The slip-resistant and oil- and gasoline-resistant outsole also provides energy absorption in the heel area. The upper material is made of water-repellent smooth leather and offers antistatic protection.

The shoe is certified according to EN ISO 20347:2012 and meets the requirements of protection class O2.
